Our Dogs and Michigan

We are lucky to have had two wonderful dogs in our lives and who have both their time in Michigan.  Tina, our first dog was a med  rescue (she was "some kind of terrier").  She loved the beach and chasing waves like no other dog.  She also loved to paddle board, kayak, boat and hike with us. She loved it so much up here, that after we lost her (in Ga), we brought her ashes up here and spread them in some of her favorite places.

Our current dog, Roxi, is an English Cocker Spaniel.  Like Tina, she loves it up here.  She is always ready for a hike, or any kind of boat.  

For me, the simple pleasure of hiking with Roxi in the woods or on the beach is the most wonderful thing ever.

We feel so blessed to have dogs that we love (or have loved) and who love Michigan and all of the joys of Michigan as much as we do.
