More About Us in Northern Michigan

My husband's family owns a small resort in Northern Michigan.  The kind of resort where people have been coming for generations. It is over 100 years old.  We are lucky enough to be on a small lake, but also have access to Lake Michigan.  It is pristine, charming, and just beautiful.  I am a California girl, and really thought no state could match the beauty of our coast....if you have been here - you know. 

My husband and I are both teachers in the Atlanta area, and I have been coming  up  every summer since before our children were born.  Just like my husband, his relatives, and so many of the guests who come up here, our children have not missed a summer here since they were born.

On a summer boat ride when our children were little:

We love it up here because we have found life long friendships with family and friends who visit.  We share the love of tradition, memories, scenic beauty and all of the many activities that are available up here.

We love to hike, bike, fish, paddle board, kayak, boat, wakeboard, ski, picnic, go out to dinner, host dinner parties,  host music nights, cocktail parties, stargaze, have a game night or just sit around and talk.  With the long days, we love how most of our life is lived outdoors during the summer.

If you have been to Northern Michigan, some of this might resonate. This is why we love our product.  When we are back teaching in Atlanta, we can just look at our key chain or lanyard, belt, or any of our products and it brings back the warm memories or summer and friendships.
